The capacity of the GEM-Series control panels may be expanded with the use of GEM-EZM modules. The GEMEZM4 provides four additional zones; the GEM-EZM8 provides 8 additional zones with the option to be configured for only 4 zones. The 4-zone and 8-zone modules as well as GEM-RP1CAe2 4-zone EZM modules may be combined as necessary to supply the required number of zones. Refer to the installation instructions for the control panel in use for wiring requirements for UL-listed applications.

GEM-RECV96 will accommodate up to 96 wireless zones. The receiver is connected to the control panel's 4-wire bus. The receiver monitors each transmitter, updating transmitter status as reports are received, and conveys this information to the control panel. Also monitored is the elapsed time since the last report from each transmitter. If no report is received within a programmed time, a Supervisory Failure will result.
The Inovonics four zone add-on receiver with relay outputs programs and supervises up to four Inovonics transmitters. This receiver includes Form C relays for each output, allowing connection to any hardwire panel, or stand-alone wireless application.

The M1XRFTWM two-way wireless transceivers allow an ELK-M1 or ELK-M1EZ8 control to accept Elk's complete line of two-way wireless sensors. The ELK-M1XRFTWM has been optimized to provide superior signal reception and reliability in multi-transceiver applications.
The ELK-M1XRFTW has been replaced by the ELK-M1XRFTWM. The ELK-M1XRFTWM performs all the functions of the ELK-M1XRFTW and is suitable for single or multiple transceiver installations.
DO NOT mix ELK-M1XRFTW and ELK-M1XRFTWM transceivers in a single M1 installation.
