The PP5 Power Adapter is one of two power options for the W Series control panels (WIP620, WIP630). The PP5 power option gives the installer the freedom to use a longer length of wire to mount the control panel farther from the wall plug if needed. A power option must always be chosen for every control panel.
In case of power failure, a rechargeable Lithium battery is included with every W panel, providing 72 hour backup with 6 alarms.
The ELK-P412 is a general purpose high current power supply and battery charger. It is ideal for alarm, access control, and CCTV applications requiring up to 4 Amps. The ELK-P412 distributes 12VDC power to three (3) sets of DC power terminals, each having a voltage present indicator LED and automatic resetting overload protection. It also features a master On/Off switch and built-in low battery cut-off to protect the backup battery from deep discharging if AC power is off for an extended time.
